These images are only a few of the thousands I've taken over the years of working people protesting wage cuts, contracting out, and a host of other anti-union measures. Since NAFTA and the increasing importation of US labour management models, organized labour in Canada is losing ground. In socialist Europe unions play a large role in civil society, but in Canada and the U.S. unions live with weak labour laws and lack of economic rights enshrined in the nation's constitution.
